Graham Hill Eyecare is a proudly independent and locally-owned optometry practice situated in the heart of Shepparton, Victoria. Accredited by the Optometric Association of Australia, we strive to be the centre of excellence and a leader in the delivery of eyecare. Our team consists of highly experienced optometrists who specialise in various areas, allowing us to deliver care focused on your unique needs. Supported by first-class optical assistants, a stellar reception team and an in-house optical technician, we’re known for consistently providing the very best eyecare services to our community and surrounding areas. As a result of high standards of care and commitment to community service, Graham Hill Eyecare was awarded inclusion into the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce’s hall of fame in 2019.
Graham Hill Eyecare’s long history dates back to 1935 when Alan Turner FVOA moved to Shepparton as an optician at FC Johns Jewellers in Wyndham Street. In 1945, he moved to his own premises and in 1965 was joined by Graham Hill, who had just graduated from Melbourne University. The commitment to premium service and quality saw the business grow rapidly, and twenty-five years ago we moved to the current address on Maude Street.
At Graham Hill Eyecare, we are incredibly passionate about promoting public health and giving back to our community. We were instrumental in establishing the original eye out-patient clinic and the Low Vision Centre at Baringa. In addition, we contribute to low-cost eyecare to rural Victorians and the eye clinic at the Rumbalara Medical Centre. We have also been involved in many community groups such as the Shepparton retirement village, the Greater Shepparton Foundation, local sports clubs and local schools. Our optometric staff are involved in teaching and serve on many community committees.
